Job Description Visa's Risk and Identify Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product manager. The Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to execute the product strategy for Fraud Management Essentials, Visa’s fraud prevention and mitigation tool for merchants in the small and midmarket segments.
Essential Functions
Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.Help define product strategy to scale the current market facing product in the direct and indirect channel including merchants, acquiring partners, technical partners, marketplace providers, and payment facilitators.Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for user experience design and final development by engineering teams. Prioritize product development work and partner with development teams on scoping.Lead and inspire cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of the product. Includes significant degree of collaboration across Solutions, Sales, Support, Marketing, Product Development, Project Management, Technical Product Management, and other Product Managers. Lead cross functional effort to build appropriate support processes, training, and materials for all channels.Manage migration and/or end of life projects.Engage directly with Strategic Partners and clients in the field.Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of relevant work experience with a PhD degree
Preferred Qualifications:
7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelors Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD
Strong product management skills with a sound understanding of payment technology, risk and fraud management, other ecosystem requirements
3+ years of experience in the payments/fraud industry (e.g. payment processing, acquiring, payment technology provider, payment brand etc.) or
3+ years of experience in technical or business product management (business case development to P&L management)
3+ years' experience with design thinking product development methodology preferred
Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Aptitude to collaborate with engineering teams to build robust, reliable and scalable solutions
Highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts
Ability to think creatively to solve problems
Organizational and leadership abilities to influence, negotiate and drive results
Knowledge in mobile and web development and user experience design
Experience and knowledge of Agile project methodology and practices
Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,100.00 to 154,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
