ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Principal Information Security Engineer to support an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) role in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.
Key Role:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Perform as a Windows/Red Hat/ Linux Security Administrator for large, classified government contract
Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Primary liaison for mergers, acquisitions, and divesture activities as it relates to user access, network, security, and support.

Required Qualifications:
Expert knowledge and experience in the development and processing of RMF Security Authorization Packages.
Typical education and experience: bachelor’s and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
Active Secrete clearance required.
Current IAT/IAM Level 2 Certification.
Expert understanding of cybersecurity principles, of enterprise-level networks, and software development.
Windows/Red Hat/ Linux knowledge/experience
Preferred Qualifications:
