Bloomberg News is seeking an energetic journalist with sharp news judgement, strong storytelling abilities and outstanding communication skills to oversee our Oslo bureau. You should be a news hound with a nose for scoops. You'll work closely with the government and economy teams to cover Norway's sovereign wealth fund and the central bank's monetary policy. You'll also collaborate with colleagues around the region on stories looking at Norway's fossil fuel production and green transition, as well as the growing prevalence of electric vehicles. You'll have a keen eye for equality coverage from one of the richest countries in the world.
Importantly, you will act as ambassador for Bloomberg News, setting up roundtable discussions and other events with key newsmakers in Oslo. Your exceptional people skills mean you will serve as a mentor and role model to others in the bureau, ensuring they navigate the newsroom, and are equipped with the writing, data and broader skill sets required to reach audiences across all our platforms.
