The expected annual salary range for this role is $116250.03 - $170500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Operations Finance Manager is the leader of the finance organization for the Power Distribution Services (PDS) business unit of the Electrical Engineering Systems & Services (EESS) division. This position acts as a strategic business partner within the PDS business supporting the division controller and division director of operations in all financial and operational aspects of the business. Responsibilities include the oversight and execution of financial processes and controls necessary to plan, record, analyze, and report on the financial conditions of the business unit, driving process improvements within the finance organization, and upholding and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure the proper control environment. In addition, this role has a specific focus on ensuring compliance to Revenue Recognition standards specific to the Services division. The position reports directly to the EESS Division Controller and functionally to the EESS Director of Operations.
In this position you will;
Support the division controller and division director of operations in all financial aspects of the business. Coordinate and manage all financial reporting and accounting within the business unit.Communicate results to leadership and the broader division team to ensure timely and effective decision making. Develop and manage month end close, forecasting, annual profit plan, and strategic plan process for the Projects business unit. Promote good financial stewardship by helping to control costs and driving forecast accuracy.Provide oversight and assistance to ensure compliance with Revenue Recognition standards.Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drives accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leadersDriving initiatives (including CAPEX and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain managementCollaborative Planning: Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plansFinancial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality.Inventory Management: Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cashTalent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business Forecasting: lead the main financial processes for the site, such forecasts and profit plan

BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experienceMinimum of 2 years of leadership experienceRelocation assistance will be provided for candidates residing outside a 50 mile radius of location listed in job description Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or business and/or CPAProgressive work experience in industrial manufacturing and strong standard cost accounting skills.Demonstrated leadership capability, ability to build and develop teams, excellent communication skills.Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
