Job Description

　　n large telecommunications employer in Englewood, CO is looking for a Network Engineer to join their growing team. This team is an integral part of the development and testing of the newest technology for that they are rolling out to customers. On a day to day basis, this team of engineers works in a SCRUM environment operating in 2 week sprints within a cutting edge lab environment. This individual will be responsible for testing and certifying cable modems and customer premise equipment and other technology to ensure it meets standards. Typically this individual will be responsible for 2-3 tickets at a time. Responsibilities also include technical documentation and development of Implementation guides for operations teams. 25% of the work is physical engineering in the lab while the other 75% is working through command lines. The ideal candidate will be innovative, adapt and eager learn new technologies and a collaborative communicator.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　5 + years of network engineering experience

　　Strong CMTS experience including ICMTS and VCMTS

　　vCMTS and RPD Regression Testing

　　Experience with cable technology including CPE and Cable Modems

　　Strong understanding and experience with DOCSIS 3.1 Virtual Machine experience

　　Routing and Switching experience

　　Automation Experience null
