Our client is a thriving medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine desire to help people.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
Record patient histories and vital signs
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about our services
Process payments and insurance information
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers and familiarity with medical software systems (e.g., EHR/EMR systems)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm
Friendly and compassionate demeanor, with a patient-centric approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
