Job Summary:
Develops, implements, and executes strategic marketing plans for Bicycle Tires - The Americas. Coordinates with both regional and global teams to establish alignment and best practices to increase market share and margin. Researches and identifies market trends and opportunities to increase brand exposure and consumer conversion. Manages press and brand communications for Bicycle Tires - The Americas. Directs portfolio of sponsorships, ambassadors, and events in alignment with regional and global objectives.
Functions:
Develops and executes structured marketing plans according to regional needs and aligned with global marketing strategy.Coordinates and oversees the execution of advertising and promotional programs to ensure profits meet objectives. Networks and interacts with outside customer contacts and senior internal and external personnel to represent the organization throughout the Americas.Manage portfolio of 10+ tradeshow/end user events throughout the year with both internal and external stakeholders. Attend most events to ensure quality of messaging and effectiveness of spend.Manages press and brand communications for Bicycle Tires - The Americas in alignment with regional and global guidelines.Responsible for pricing strategy of the Americas; in accordance with bicycle strategy and market environment, in close alignment with global pricing policy.Partners with key business customers to execute product and program positioning and ensures it is integrated throughout internal and external communications and sales materials.Develops and maintains strong working relationships with multiple internal (business groups) stakeholders, external vendors, and maintains the ability to analyze the needs of the sales force, legal, compliance, and branding guidelines.Respond to media inquiries on a timely basis for Bicycle Tires - The Americas.Contact partner for central marketing / PR / launch events.Ensures Continental brand is portrayed favorably and accurately in the media.Additional Information

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ yearsprofessionalexperience in MarketingAbility to travel up to 30%Ability to lift up to 50lbs for bicycle event setupPossesses knowledge of the principles, practices, and standard methodologies of marketing strategy and operationsCapable of handling a diverse workload, thinking globally and acting locally, and able to build and leverage a support network across the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong ability to use strong written and oral communications to present ideas/explain material to a variety of audiences.Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
