The Manager, Partnership Management, FLEX Partnerships will report to the Director, Partnership Management, FLEX Partnerships and will partner closely with multiple stakeholders including members of the Partnerships team, external Providers, GD functions, Finance, R&D Procurement, R&D Quality and other R&D stakeholders.
This position will be responsible for the operational aspects of FLEX resource supply, the systems to manage on- and offboarding including relevant staff and overseeing day-to-day operations of the One Delivery Flex Model. In parallel, the position will be involved in overseeing the One Delivery FLEX providers and supporting the One Delivery Model sourcing strategy.
This position will be involved in managing communications and implementation of the One Delivery FLEX Model. The position will work closely with other team members within the FLEX Central Management team and the key providers to support the strategy for the supplier relationship.
The position will serve as coordinator on day-to-day FLEX resourcing strategy related activities to direct, fortify and manage the assigned interfaces.
Principles Responsibilities:
Involved in supporting the operational implementation of the day-to-day FLEX resourcing needs of GD stakeholders, in close partnership with the Associate Director, FLEX Partnerships. Further supports execution of resource needs via the respective tools/systems (1-Supply; FRM; OPR; etc.)
Collaborates with assigned GD stakeholders/customers to effectively drive and support FLEX resourcing needs, in alignment with the One Delivery FLEX Model.
Supports collection of metrics and business intelligence processes to facilitate the decision support process with varying GD stakeholders. Serve as the interface with wider Partnerships Department in metrics, data, and processes.
Supports the management of issues/escalations raised by GD stakeholders and/or the providers. Escalates as appropriate to Associate Director, FLEX Partnerships.
Supports projects related to the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the One Delivery FLEX model.
In collaboration with FLEX Partnerships team, provides support to the FLEX Playbook updates and trainings, furthering supporting Community of Practice (CoP) meetings ensuring the leveraging of existing tools, instruments and processes.
Supports execution of geographic optimization strategy in collaboration with GD stakeholders and providers. This will involve running reports, drafting slides, and analyzing data.
Develop an operational working relationship with the One Delivery FLEX providers to effectively drive and support the One Delivery FLEX Model.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
An advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
Proficient in adapting to various required tools/systems to drive strategy is required.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.
Ability to manipulate data via pivot tables, v-lookup, etc. is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with internal J&J stakeholders and external suppliers in a productive and collaborative manner is required.
Candidate should be agile and able to adapt to evolving business priorities.
Ability to work in a global matrix/remote environment is required.
Must be fluent (speaking and writing) in English

The anticipated base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA is $113,00 - $195,730.
The anticipated base pay range for this position in all other US locations is $99,000 - $170,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
