Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant equipment, and facility. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. You will install, adjust, and repair molds, trimmers, palletizer, and other related equipment. Additional duties include performing mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes, inspecting and replacing pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, inspecting, rebuilding and replacing valves and pumps, and performing preventive maintenance on all related equipment. You will maintain machines in optimal processing condition, weld, fabricate, and repair various machines, troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment. You may also operate blow mold or injection machines and communicate with other departments frequently. Duties may differ by plant based on equipment and plant design. Other tasks may be assigned by management. You will receive instructions on specific job tasks from the Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor, and assistance is provided on unusual problems with work reviewed for sound professional judgment application. While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
