The Opportunity:
Coleman VisasQ is seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist based on the East Coast (US) to join our growing Development team. This role offers work from home or in office flexibility depending on location.
Ideal will have a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, a passion for MLOps practices, and a keen interest in Generative AI technology. This role will involve both research and development to help us create, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge AI platform.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and validate machine learning models, with an emphasis on generative models. Integrate machine learning models into production environments using MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and version control. Optimize model performance, scalability, and efficiency. Develop and maintain data pipelines for model training and inference. Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning, MLOps, and Generative AI, and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Work with stakeholders to ensure models meet ethical AI guidelines and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a machine learning engineering or data science role. Strong proficiency in Python and common machine learning. Demonstrable experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, DVC, Docker). Experience with data modeling, data cleaning, and preprocessing techniques. Understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and their machine learning services is a plus. Contributions to open-source projects or public repositories showcasing relevant work. A Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist salary compensates them for all hours worked, which may vary from week to week. Machine Learning Engineers carry an FLSA-exempt status and are not eligible for overtime pay.
