Position Description
Job Summary
This position is tasked with logistics scheduling, freight optimization, order fulfillment, inventory control, and assisting with production as needed. The incumbent will report directly to the Plant Manager for Royse City TX location.
Interfaces and Responsibilities:
Key internal interfaces will be with the Plant Manager, the supply chain manager for US operations and the Director of Operations. This position will work collaboratively with the entire organization in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Logistics scheduling / freight optimization - plan, organize and control all Rockwall transportation operations in liaison with sales administration, production department and remote terminals. This includes coordination of LTL, bulk tanker, and rail modes of transportation.Complete and compile paperwork for customer shipments - including NAFTA, MSDS, bills of lading, and ensuring the correct parties receive the correct manifests. Sending required completed paperwork to corporate office daily Manages, as the key point of contact, all aspects of contracts with vendors for services and rates relative to facility upkeep and office equipment.Monitor and keep virtual inventory for remote terminal(s), reconcile and report month end numbers to corporate office.Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedule for tankers, trucks and other related equipment keeping in compliance with DOT regulationOther duties may be assigned as necessary
Required Qualifications
Education/Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years' experience OR equivalent combination (HS+5-6 years' experience)Understanding of the cost of logistics and international freight. Able to manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, etc. with facility related vendors.Proficiency in EXCEL and working with an ERP systemSelf-motivated, capable of seeking quality solutions and continuously focusing on process improvements, while keeping the needs of the business in the forefront.Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
