Venable LLP's Intellectual Property Group seeks a midlevel patent litigation associate with a minimum of five years of experience to join the practice in the Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, or Washington, D.C. office.

　　The qualified candidate has a background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. The successful candidate has extensive experience in all phases of patent litigation, including first-chairing depositions, writing expert reports, drafting and arguing motions, drafting infringement/invalidity concerns, and arguing appeals. Industry experience is beneficial. The client focus areas for this role include telecommunications, automotive and other high tech industries. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. 　　The salary range for associate positions is $205,000 to $365,000 per year, depending upon associate level.
