As a INVESTIGATIONS CONTRACT ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties: The Investigation Contract Analyst reports directly to the Supervisory Investigation Contract Analyst and part of the FIRE CPOC team located in Boyers, PA The incumbent is responsible for but not limited to a range of duties including the development, oversight and management of support contracts to perform personnel background investigations while delivering products and services with excellent quality and timeliness Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This position may be filled at either GG-09 or GG-11 grade level, please indicate the grade for which you want to be considered. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. For the GG-09: You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG-07) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for the GG-09 position includes: Assisting contractors throughout federal background investigations processes. Providing external/internal support by troubleshooting and assisting on background investigation processes, errors encountered and system process improvements. Assisting in the review of federal background investigations policies and procedures in accordance with agency contract to ensure contractors follow guidance and meet mission requirements. For the GG-11: You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG-09) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for the GG-11 position includes: Overseeing contractors throughout the support of the federal background investigations process. Providing external/internal support by analyzing, evaluating, troubleshooting and providing guidance on background investigation processes, errors encountered and system process improvements. Reviewing federal background investigations policies and procedures to in accordance with agency contract to ensure contractors follow guidance and meet mission requirements. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.
