What you'll do:
Primary Function:
This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers.
Essential Functions:
Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical workAssist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performedFollow required safety practicesManage paperwork and office procedures, as requiredPerform all work at a high level of qualityBe willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers. Travel may be requiredPerform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standardsPerform other duties, as required
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyThis position does not offer relocationValid driver's license requiredLegally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution productsGood organizational and time management skillsStrong analytic skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office)Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematicsMechanical aptitudeGood attitude and work ethic
