The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome an Instock Manager to our dynamic team, based in Seattle WA, New York, Arlington VA, Nashville TN, Austin TX, or Los Angeles CA.
In this role, you will own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will support excellent inventory management, build an effective supply chain, and drive successful interactions with our partner teams. To be successful in this role, you should feel comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to allow us our business to grow. In joining this team, you will have the opportunity to both build and operate in an ambiguous fast-paced environment and will drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and process improvement within retail and operations.
The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-starting and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. You must demonstrate passion for the customer experience. You must be results oriented and able to manage both strategic and tactical activities in parallel.
Strong candidates will have knowledge in fundamental business principles and previous Retail experience. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
Key job responsibilities
A successful Instock Manager will:
Lead and oversee the Instock function, including demand planning, ordering, and capacity management, ensuring optimal inventory availability and health.
Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows

Note: this is a Hybrid role, requiring an ISM to be on-site at least 3 days/week in one of our Amazon Fresh corporate offices

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of with Excel experience
4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
Experience working with complex data sets
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
