RSRU AVP
In this role, you will be a part the Regulatory Reporting Recommending Unit (RSRU) team and the core responsibilities are:
Reviewing Obligor information available in the public domain and recommending the appropriate Basel Counterparty type based on the regulatory interpretive guidance. Counterparty type information is a key attribute consumed in RWA calculations.
Liaising and providing the required facts and evidence to the second line of defense function at Citi in order for them to review and challenge RSRU’s recommendation on the counterparty type.
The candidate will be a senior member of the established group and will work in close partnership with Capital Planning, Credit Risk and Business.
Supporting with Audit requests pertaining to Regulatory Segment recommendation.
Involved in the many diverse activities that the team engages in, to support the overall RSRU’s Book of Work.
Key Competencies
Subject Matter Expertise
Familiarity and academic knowledge of banking business model including, products, counterparties, risk profile, earning drivers, and macro-economic implications
Experience with and knowledge of control environment associated with RWA calculations
Demonstrated history of facilitating and driving initiatives to grow or change the bank in a program or project management capacity
Strong understanding of bank risk and control frameworks
Partnership & Collaborative Success
Desire to partner with other stakeholders in the firm to drive objectives to delivery
Strong interpersonal skills to identify and resolve conflict to mitigate roadblocks

Qualifications
5-8 years relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
Familiarity with large scale data and querying ability is preferred
A demonstrated history of delivering on initiatives
Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a firm
Proven analytical skills for developing data analysis and quantitative strategies
An ability to manage personal workload and agenda independently but in alignment with the priorities of the business unit
