Job Summary:
GLSES coordinator liaises and coordinates information locally between Laboratory Operations, Procurement, Sourcing, Kit Reception, Project Management and external vendors, ensuring that CLS and GLSES global/local procedures are followed appropriately. He is accountable to deliver GLSES local/regional support to Laboratory Operations as assigned below and to maintain harmonization of GLSES procedures with other GLSES coworkers. Incumbent is customer-oriented and maintains high standards in all aspects of departmental and laboratory functions.
General Duties and responsibility:
Responsible for policies, procedures, and maintenance required for GLSESBased on business need, may be assigned tasks at level above (GLSES Administrators , Senior Administrators and Specialists)
Monitor and report performance metrics and take corrective actions when appropriate.Individual is responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file. Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task. Individual is accountable for any deficiencies found in his/her training fileProvide a monthly report to the Manager.Other duties as assigned
GLSES duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring and optimizing proper management of supplies/orders for Gen Lab section
Acts as PeopleSoft SME/Super-userEnsures availability of common items to all Lab Ops platformsResponsible for Gen Lab orders.Assists any lab department with supplies/orders when needed.Responsible for coordinating annual maintenance and the renewal of pipette for all Laboratory departments.Responsible for re-certification of all cross-departmental ancillary equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair.Responsible for monitoring REES system of all General Lab Units (Alarm acknowledge, transfer samples, Alarm review)Responsible for managing and/or supporting the import permit application for APAC regionResponsible of GLSES QA delegate duties and assignmentsResponsible of CAP/Proficiency Testing (PT) administrative tasks like but not limited to PT surveys submission and surveys activation.Provide support to GLSES administrators on triage and follow up on local laboratory queries related to GLSES activities.Supports GLSES administrative tasks, to include but not limited to Database Support, Compliance Support and Process Support ensuring paperwork is in order, filing and scanning paperwork as needed.Provide support on quality check of manual data entry, to include but not limited to manual data entry in QC global monitoring tool and EP Evaluator tool.Provide support on Lab Compliance administrative tasks of Instrument Validation documentation and Method Validation documents.Support GLSES Administrator for coordinating all local and global Proficiency Testing (PT) programs: ensures local departmental and global testing sites meet deadlines for proficiency survey responses; distributes survey samples to ensure timely return of data forms as required. Maintains up to date files for global PT program.Support GLSES Administrator for providing local/global PT metrics and quality reports for use in evaluating performance by department and testing site location.Support GLSES Administrator for completing professional organization membership renewals and accreditation for Directors (CQ holders)Support GLSES Administrator for working with PT agency contacts and Lab Directors to ensure annual subscriptions to PT programs are accurate; provides updates to subscriptions as required.Based on business need, may be assigned tasks at level above (GLSES Administrator)
Experience:
Good knowledge in Word, Visio, Excel, OutlookHas good customer service skills and great attention to detail.Fluent in English
Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses:
High school diploma or equivalentPreferred: Medical Laboratory Technologist
