　　The Boeing Company is currently looking for an Experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Mechanical & Structures Engineering Team located at Bangalore, India.

　　Position Responsibilities:

　　The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

　　Responsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems while working as a coordinated team

　　Structural analysis includes calculation of loads, Static analysis, Fatigue analysis, Damage-Tolerance analysis, and Vibration analysis

　　Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations and, finite element method

　　Validating designs through dynamic analysis and testing

　　Generate documentation to report analysis and, test results to support certification/qualification

　　Support Gated Reviews to validate the quality and completeness of work packages

　　Familiar with regulatory framework (FAA and Mil-Spec), for warranting safety and regulatory compliance

　　Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.

　　This position will be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with team members and engineering managers in Boeing organizations and shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.

　　This position will Interact frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers and will represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

　　This position will participate and support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.

　　Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

　　Bachelors or Master’s degree in equivalent fields is required.

　　Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads and analysis methods

　　Must have experience working with multi-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners.

　　Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.

　　Communication – strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals. Candidate must be proficient in English, and familiar with MS Office tools.

　　Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working optimally under pressure in a time-constrained environment.

　　Candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Ability to mentor and teach subordinates and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.

　　Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

　　Experience in structural analysis of various airframe structures.

　　Experience with structural analysis of metallic and composite structures.

　　Experience with static and fatigue analysis

　　Knowledge of airplane operating environments

　　Experience in Aerospace - DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 is required.

　　Experience with static and dynamic structural analysis (Modal analysis, random vibration analysis, shock analysis, solder joint / lead fatigue analysis, thermal analysis (Passive/Active cooling) as an added advantage.

　　Work Experience in FEM software: PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyper works

　　Experience or training with computer programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Visual Basic)

　　Experience in applying industry CAD systems (e.g., NX/Teamcenter and CATIA/ENOVIA)

　　Candidate demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with several Collaborators

　　Ability to work across functional teams and organizations

　　Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience

　　Desire to continuously improve our airplanes

　　Typical Education & Experience:

　　Bachelors in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Mechanics/Structural engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in stress analysis or Master’s degree with 7 to 11 years of related work experience.Relocation:
