Eaton’s CPDI PDI division is currently seeking a Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 2nd Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segements. The Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 3:15 PM- 11:45 PM. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment. Job offer also includes a $500 bonus after 3 months of employment.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.84 per hour. This position offers a $1.00 shift premium

What you’ll do:
This position will be responsible for winding coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components, according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools. Reviews wiring diagrams and work order or examines sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound.
In this function you will:
Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
Adhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctuality
Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable
Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations
Qualifications:
Required (Basics):
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Forklift operator certification (can be trained on-site)
3 or more years of experience in related field preferred
6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or high school trades course
Previous Machine Operation experience
Skills:
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Repetitive use of mallet to shape coils is required.
Ability to weld and braze
Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment as required
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
Pushing & Pulling is required during the manufacturing process
