Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precisionaircraft parts. Youll maintain and comply with all safety regulations,organize and clean your work environment. You are also responsible forthe set-up, inspection, first part buys, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be familiar with and comply with all safety policies andprocedures.
Operate metal or plastic fabricating equipment/machinery.
Set up and operate variety of machine tools.
Properly operate hand or power tools.
Operate precision measuring tools.
Provide timely accurate information to supervisors, co-workers, andsubordinates.
Read blueprints within training and orientation period.
Read and interpret customer specifications within training andorientation period.
Read and interpret technical drawings within training and orientationperiod.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance as directed.
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
Position Requirements
1 year CNC experienced, or certification from an accredited organizationin the area of responsibility desired.
Knowledge of CNC machines and tools desired.
Blueprint reading and interpretation desired.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Accommodation required to read computer screens and documents.
Prolonged sitting and/or standing.
Required to push, pull, reach overhead, climb stairs, bend and exert upto 75 pounds of force.
