What You'll Do
Provide day to day direction, leadership, and management of claim functions with a focus on operational excellence, quality claim management, and customer service
Manage a team of 6-8 associates/advocates who have that go getter mentality
Implement strategic vision; align team to organizational goals and key initiatives
Hold team accountable for their performance and development including, but not limited to, effective performance management, evaluation of performance gaps, and appropriate collaboration with Human Resources
Drive team development; anticipate business needs by identifying key opportunity areas
Work cross-functionally with various business groups to drive key measures as they relate to insurance claims
Maintain a high-quality recruiting and on-boarding of new associates and advocates
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in motor vehicle liability and personal accident claims handling
2+ years of frontline leadership experience in a results-driven environment
High School Diploma obtained
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in managing injury claims
Bachelor's Degree obtained
7+ years of professional experience in the insurance industry handling auto claims
3+ years of formal leadership experience
Proficient digital literacy required to navigate a paperless environment
Experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel plus other relevant tooling programs

For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,250 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
