Aveda has an exciting opportunity for a Salon Development Executive for the Essex and East Anglia region.
The Salon Development Executive is responsible for the delivery of sales targets and for building relationships with salon partners. This is done through account management, salon team product engagement and coaching of salon partners. The Salon Development Executive will be responsible for acquiring new salon business on area through prospecting and providing leads nationally via digital prospecting.
Role summary: 40% role to service established Aveda salon accounts within area. 40% role to win and secure new salon business through prospecting. 20% of role to generate national new business salon leads via digital engagement.
Key roles & Responsibilities
Sales & New Salon Business
Achieve targets through creating and maintaining strategic partnerships with salon account base. Develop salons through regular, quality visits and focused journey planning with emphasis on achievement of sales, productivity goals and brand objectives. Motivate Aveda salons to promote sell through, services, and excellent customer experience to their guests. Utilise and demonstrate solid understanding of sales, product knowledge, events, retail market and salon industry with excellence. Capture consumer insights/sales trends/traffic patterns and using learnings to influence and optimise results. Observe and provide feedback to salons regarding performance via commercial business reviews. Identify and convert new Aveda Salon business to strengthen market share and strengthen prospecting pipeline. Always-on solid prospecting journey plan to combat areas of low Aveda distribution and drive brand exposure. Seek and provide quality salon leads nationally through digital prospecting.
Training/Education
Promote Aveda hair colour and hair/spa & retail to increase Aveda services and sales in salons. Drive brand education: ensure staff are well-versed in brand messaging and assortment. Deliver brand trainings/team huddles to dedicated salon-wide teams on product knowledge, service experiences, selling and leadership skills. Proactively identify inventory/stock issues that may hinder business growth.
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving
Analyse the business and identify sales goals/targets to be set. Proactively anticipate and rectify obstacles to goal achievement using critical problem-solving skills, target specific KPI's relevant to the business, strategize client engagement to attract, convert, and retain salons. Identify and convert new business to increase market share. Create feedback links with the brand: share feedback with central teams on execution, competitions, products, service offering and activity; maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends, demographics and customer needs/behaviours and reactions.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Degree education preferred. Experience in salon sales preferred. Ability to Maximize volume and revenue in accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with salons through superior service and execution of presentations and story-telling. Secure promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance. Ability to build rapport both face to face and digitally/Social channels. Ability to see problems and develop action plans. Charismatic individual with strong negotiation and communication talents. Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Availability to work key business hours Must have valid driver's license
