  The mission of Associate Manager Query & Resolution (Q&R) is to monitor the requests coming from internal and external stakeholders. This team handles escalations and identifies possible invoice issues in a proactive manner.

  In this role you will play a critical role to coordinate your team resources while maintaining the team motivated and engaged to perform successfully. You will be the process SME supporting the team developing their process knowledge and guiding them through complex cases. You will also set daily objectives, prioritize, and allocate the work among the team members to ensure SLA's are met or exceeded.

  Key Activities and Accountabilities

  Leads a team ranging from 5 to 8 direct reports including coaching, talent development and HR related tasksManages day-to-day operation of P2P Query & Resolution team, setting on-going individual and team objectives, prioritizing work, and optimizing resources to meet or exceed SLA'sDrive escalation of tickets in ServiceNow related to vendor setups, banking details and otherHandles internal and external escalations (vendors & stakeholders), and maintain a high rate of customer satisfactionEnsures all core processes are documented with risk and control points clearly identifiedServes as a Business Partners with addressing actions to ensure prompt issues resolution and timely paymentSupport the team as the process SME to develop the staff process knowledge and provide guidance when working through complex casesSupports staff resource planning, organizing, and monitoring of key processes, including assisting in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and taking effective actions to address performance mattersEnsure compliance of activities performed by the teams (Group policies, internal controls)

  People Management

  Leads and develops the teamDrives improvements in employee engagement (Q12)Ensures that relevant information is communicated to direct reports enabling them to effectively carry out their functionsDelegates tasks in line with skill, knowledge, and ability, where necessary (together with the Manager) identifies skill gaps and training requirementsHandles personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, etc.

  Education

  Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldProfessional certification in accounting (CPA or equivalent) preferredFluent in English

  Experience

  Minimum experience of 3 years in an Accounts Payable lead/senior position (preferably within a SSC) + minimum 3 years of people management experienceMust have internal controls exposure and compliance mindset (SOX control desirable)Good knowledge of USGAAP (preferred)Experience using an ERP systemWorking knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus
