Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced AEM Developer to join our development team. As an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions to deliver engaging and personalized digital experiences in support of the Labcorp Commerce experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and system administrators, to implement scalable and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a deep understanding of AEM development best practices, strong technical skills, and a passion for creating exceptional web experiences.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality AEM components, templates, and workflows based on business requirements and technical specifications.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces that align with brand guidelines.Customize and extend the AEM platform using Java, JSP, and other relevant technologies to meet specific project needs.Implement and maintain AEM integrations with external systems and third-party tools, such as CRMs, DAMs, and analytics platforms.Optimize website performance and ensure efficient content delivery through caching, indexing, and other AEM optimization techniques.Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.Collaborate with system administrators to configure and maintain AEM environments, including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher setups.Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues, working closely with support teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features, enhancements, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Document technical specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.7 years of experience as an AEM Developer, with a strong focus on AEM 6.x or above.Proficient in Java and JSP, with a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React).In-depth knowledge of AEM core components, sling models, OSGi bundles, and AEM workflows.Experience with AEM Sightly/HTML templating language and component development.Familiarity with AEM authoring capabilities, including content creation, publishing, and permissions management.Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including dispatcher setups, replication agents, and caching mechanisms.Experience with RESTful web services, SOAP, and API integrations within the AEM platform.Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or SVN.Experience with e-Commerce platforms and experiencesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
